This policy covers two things: the Screen Pet Engine app and this website (screenpetengine.com).

The app

Screen Pet Engine collects nothing. There are no accounts, no sign-in, and no telemetry. The pets and objects you use or create, and your settings, all stay on your own device. Nothing about how you use the app is sent anywhere.

If you export logs to report a problem (Settings, Diagnostics, Export logs), the app writes a file to a location you choose on your computer. Nothing is uploaded. You decide whether and with whom to share that file, and you can turn on an option that redacts your account name before saving.

This website

Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics to understand how the site is used (for example, which pages are read), so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies and processes data such as the pages you view, your approximate location (from your IP address), and your device and browser type.

Analytics loads only if you accept it. The first time you visit, a banner asks for your choice. If you Decline, or simply ignore the banner, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. If you Accept, you can change your mind later by clearing this site’s cookies and local storage in your browser, which resets your choice.

Fonts

The site loads its typefaces from Google Fonts. When a page loads, your browser requests the font files from Google, so Google receives your IP address as part of that request. This is used only to deliver the fonts.

What we do not do

There are no advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with third parties beyond the Google services described above.

Cookies at a glance

The only cookies this site sets are Google Analytics cookies, and only after you accept them. Declining means no cookies from us.
